After reading chapter 1, why do you think Maniac Magee started running?


Do you think he made a brave choice, or was he taking the easy way out?


What would you do if you found yourself in his situation?

    1.Maniac Magee stared running,because he was not happy at the house he was living.
    2.I don't think he made a brave choice, because he was running away.
    3.I would wait till I was older before I would leave.
